What our 12 weeks together will look like:
Week One: Yes to sleep
Money never sleeps, but you should. In the words of Arianna Huffington, “I’m much more present in my life, much more joyful. I am, without question, a better leader, because I can look ahead with more clarity.” This statement was made after she made sleep a priority.
Insufficient sleep is linked not only to a host of serious illnesses, but the effect it has on our mental health and wellbeing is alarming. So yes, we’ll spend our first week together looking at your sleep patterns and how to improve them.
Week Two: Yes to saying no
Now that we’re well rested and refreshed, we’ll evaluate how you spend your time. If you fill up your days and weeks with boring and dull activities, it’s normal to feel bad. It's time to delegate and eliminate. At the end of the day, you're never going to regret shedding what's holding you back. Look around. No one ever said that.
Week Three: Yes to trust and intuition
Now it’s time look at the skills and tools that will help you trust yourself. I'm talking about trusting your instincts, your gut, your decisions, and your insights. Do you trust that you know what you're doing? Do you trust the road ahead, even if you don't know all the answers up front? Do you trust that the universe has your back? Do you trust that it's more than OK to set healthy and happy boundaries? Next: What gets in the way of trust? What helps?
Week Four: Yes to being happy
Here you’ll learn to infuse your dayily life with all the things that light you up. When you’re happy, your thinking improves, you have more energy, and you find yourself in a flow of inspiration and insights. It’s also easier to access your spirit guides, if you’re into that sort of thing. Here you'll also learn the one thing that keeps most people from being truly happy.
Week Five: Yes to looking the part
I'm all about looking the part. 'Dress for the job you want,' and all of that. But more to the point, 'Dress for the dreams and goals you're activating.' Most people will improve their looks and surroundings after the fact, but that's like thinking, 'I'll buy a pair of running shoes after I make the Olympic team.' Want to be a writer? Dress like a writer. Dream of working in a fancy office? Dress like it. Your current look is based on the past. It's time to step into the future.
Week Six: Yes to braving the wild
What would you do if you weren’t afraid? While you sit with that question, I’ll teach you to differentiate between real and imagined danger, and you’ll learn how to transcend your fight or flight response. I'll also teach you the number one tool that empowers people to go from ‘WHY ME?’ to ‘WHY NOT ME?’ Now you can go after anything you want. Not only that, but it will feel like the new normal. How wild is that?
Week Seven: Yes to thinking on purpose
How do you make decisions? How do you plan? How do you not lose your shit when difficulties arise? How do you calm yourself down? How many of your thoughts are just sitting there being stupid and pointless? Or worse, causing you stress, pain, and suffering? What we think about shapes our world, so fill your mind with useful and helpful thoughts. Think on purpose. I'll show you how.
Week Eight: Yes to money
Does your financial situation make you feel helpless or hopeful? What do you believe about money? This week we'll use practical, fun, and effective tools to upgrade your financial identity. It's time to level up and make room for wealth and abundance. (No, I'm not saying you need more money to be happy. I'm just saying you're allowed to feel happy and empowered around your finances.)
Week Nine: Yes to hanging with your tribe
Do you feel like you really belong, or are you just fitting in? We all crave meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. This is a breeze when we spend time with people who lift us higher. But what happens when you're growing and evolving and the people around you are not? That's what we'll dive into in week nine.
Week Ten: Yes to being grateful
Gratitude makes it possible for what you have and what you want to join forces. It also helps you notice what's already stacked in your favour. You probably have more opportunities and resources than you think. We all do. You're also greater than you think. We all are. Now it's time to zoom in, take stock, and be grateful. What a powerful platform to stand on!
Week Eleven: Yes to asking for more
It’s time to expand your horizon, think bigger, and ask for more. In other words, it's time to leave the comfort zone and explore what lies at the outer edges of your life. Outside the comfort zone (what I call the learning zone) we face new challenges. We also master new skills. We stretch. We wake up. The idea here is that there is a whole range of new experiences waiting for us that are not to be found anywhere else. And in case you were wondering, there is no contradiction between loving what you have and longing for more. These two are, in fact, excellent dance partners.
Week 12: Yes to elevating your life
Ultimately, elevating your life is not about changing who you are, it’s about knowing who you are and what you stand for. Own your achievements. Honour and act on your calling. Or as Shonda Rhimes would say, ‘Be your own person.’ This changes everything. What's next for you? It's time to answer that question and step into a whole new way of being. But first, let's celebrate the incredible journey you've been on. And guess what? These past twelve weeks were only the beginning.
