I work with people who want to cultivate their most supportive qualities, like trust, freedom, ease, beauty, and inner peace. These people are also interested in magic, alchemy, spirituality, joy, and growth. So am I.
What stands in the way? In a word, resistance. Your inner resistance to change and meaningful progress can show up as fear, stress, lack of clarity, lack of confidence, people pleasing, and indecision. Just to name a few. Honestly, though, it doesn't matter what we call it. What's important to know that every new dream and goal arrives with its special brand of resistance, like two sides of a coin. That doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. It means you're on the right track.
A COMMON MISUNDERSTANDING
Look. I don't know what your dreams are. I have absolutely no way of knowing that. But I do know that you're lack of progress--or your hesitation--has nothing to do with 'holding yourself back'. I also know you're not suffering from 'self-imposed limitations'.
I mean, have you ever heard anyone say, 'I'd like to create a more rewarding and fulfilling life, but I decided to mix it up a bit by throwing a bunch of obstacles in my path. You know, things like perfectionism, hesitation, imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and lots of self-sabotaging behaviour. You know, the usual dream-killers.'
No one has ever said that, because none of this happens on a conscious level.
THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM
We all have inner obstacles. Not because we went out and cherry-picked them, but because the oldest part of our brain is designed to freak out every time we want to try something new.
New equals danger.
Danger as in: There is a tiger in the room. Run for your life! Completely irrational, but utterly convincing. Of course, the voice in our head doesn't say there is a tiger in the room, we'd see through that in a heartbeat, but instead our inner critic will say stuff like:
-Who do you think you are?
-This is not a good time.
-What will people think?
-Forget about it. It will be too much of an ordeal.
-Don't embarrass yourself.
-Must be nice to live in la-la land.
-Where will you find the time?
With those voices running the show, progress is slow and unrewarding.
Learning to recognise your own particular flavour of resistance, and understanding how to bet deal with it, is what my work is all about.
Not only is this journey super liberating and rewarding, but it also saves you an insane amount of time and energy. Because, in case you hadn't noticed, pursuing your passions doesn't always take up that much time and effort. Managing your fear, resistance, and inner critic, on the other hand, is a full-time job.
What I'm getting to is this: resistance equals stress, effort, time, delays, sadness, and overwhelm. Turning down the volume of resistance equals freedom, joy, flow, inspiration, magic, expansion, trust, confidence, excitement, and new possibilities.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
I could go on and on about this, but we don't have all day here so I'll leave you with one last point.
You don't have to chase after your dreams. You also don't have to master them or micro-manage them. Your job is to invite them in and collaborate with them.
The relationship between you and your dreams is a magical and beautiful two-way street. Your dreams want to work with you. If that wasn't the case, why would they seek you out in the first place?
“The universe buries strange jewels deep within us all, and then stands back to see if we can find them.”

Inger is an amazing wayfinder. After just one session, she managed to put an end to three years of fluffing about and shine a spotlight on the narrow track through the trees.
In addition to helping me create a new website for my re-energized editing business, Inger completely turned my head around on how I relate to money and my self-worth, something no one has been able to do before now! It was like a miracle! She is warm, hysterically funny, engaging, relentless, passionate about what she does, and a joy to work with.

“Do not be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.”
- Kenny Rogers
Inger's ability to swiftly affect change is truly amazing,
simply because there’s so much fun involved!

"Look at Inger! She's amazing. Next time I'll be reborn as a women.
They are so much smarter than men."

A little bit about moi:
I've been self-employed for seven years now. I've worked with creatives, spiritual people, TV producers, international consultants, small businesses, and entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey.
I have a unique ability to see the possibilities that exist beyond your current circumstances. I also have a gift for seeing your talents and what sets you apart from the rest of the crowd. My secret weapon, however, is helping you you liberate everything that stands in your way.
When I'm not coaching, I write books, work out, and hug trees. I also love spending time in the invisible realm and explore the possibilities that exist beyond the scope of the ordinary mind. My favourite TV shows are Grey's Anatomy and Call My Agent.
More bio stuff:
I spent ten years living at a Tibetan Buddhist center where I studied with some of the finest meditation masters of our times. It's also where I met my husband, was chased by a Californian brown bear, and first learned about kale. Not necessarily in that order.
Before training with Oprah's life coach, I worked with Royals, diplomats, producers, politicians, creatives, artists, and veterans; plus members of IOC, UNEP, and Scotland Yard. I still do odd things on the side. Like, working on international TV shoots and do translation work for the BBC.
I discovered life coaching after listening to an Elizabeth Gilbert talk. This illustrates that we're all just one idea away from blazing a new trail. And it doesn't even have to make any sense. Just take it one step at a time. This is how big dreams become the new normal.
